Boundary Proposals for the New International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at Merivale High School

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board will be introducing  a new International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Merivale High School beginning in the Fall of 2019 for Grade 9 students.  The program will expand each year as the students age. This would be the second IB program in the district; there is currently an IB program at Colonel By Secondary School.

Among the decisions being made for the implementation of the program is the attendance boundaries for the two schools.  The Proposed Option Boundary Map has Woodroffe Avenue Public School families in the Colonel By Secondary School attendance boundary.  The two Alternate Option Boundary Maps (Tracks option and River option) both have Woodroffe families in the Merivale High School boundary.  Click here to see the Attendance Boundary maps for the proposed option and the two alternate options.

There will be an Open House at Merivale High School on Monday, April 23 for the International Baccalaureate Program Implementation.  You can register to attend or you can Share Your Thoughts in an on-line survey.
